Our client is a well-established provider of fresh produce, meat, and small goods, servicing both the retail and resource sectors across Australia, with a thriving export division catering to Papua New Guinea. They're seeking an Export Logistics Coordinator in Brisbane to manage the efficient flow of goods through their supply chain.
The Ideal Candidate:
You’re an organised and detail-oriented individual with a background in logistics or warehousing. You take pride in maintaining accuracy, have a solid understanding of inventory management, and are comfortable handling both administrative and operational tasks. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven ability to coordinate freight shipments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage stock levels, verify physical stock against system counts, and oversee the receival and dispatch of all export products.
* Ensure all goods are processed according to Standard Operating Procedures, including packing and coordinating sea and air freight shipments.
* Process invoices, credit notes, and other administrative tasks, ensuring all export documentation is completed accurately and on time.
* Inspect incoming export products, track best-before dates, and ensure quality standards are met for fresh produce.
* Operate forklifts, manage pallet control, and maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
Skills and Experience:
* Forklift Licence (essential)
* Proven experience in warehousing and logistics
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate level)
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
* Experience with inventory management systems (preferred)
