With a proven track record, they are recognized as a Top Employer 2022 in five countries, including Australia, where they cultivate a supportive and dynamic culture.About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a Site Manager to lead the operations of the Aldoga Solar Farm, a major renewable energy project near Gladstone, Queensland, with a capacity of just under 400MW. The role involves managing all aspects of the site's safety, performance, compliance, and stakeholder relations. You'll play a crucial role in overseeing the transition from construction to operations and leading the team to deliver high standards of maintenance, quality, and reliability.This role is based out on site full time, working Monday to Friday.ResponsibilitiesManage all facets of the solar farm's operations, including safety, environment, compliance, and continuous improvement.Promote a positive HSE culture and provide strong HSE leadership.Lead and support the site team collaboratively.Oversee the smooth transition from construction to operations.Supervise contractors to ensure high-quality services and HSE compliance.Plan and manage all O&M activities within budget and timelines.Optimize solar farm production to maximize revenue.Ensure timely execution of compliance and risk control activities.Monitor and report on site performance against KPIs and objectives.Track and implement initiatives to improve asset performance.Utilize the site Computer Maintenance Management System for operational efficiency.Implement best practices to reduce downtime and costs.Respond to emergencies outside core working hours as needed.Manage relationships with the community and landowners.Collaborate with Central Support teams and maintain strong internal relations.Support operations projects and contribute to leadership across the department.Develop, review, and approve site documents, procedures, and policies.Qualifications & ExperienceA qualification in a relevant engineering or business discipline.5+ years' experience in asset management or a similar role.Experience with renewable energy generation assets (beneficial).Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.Knowledge of Australian regulatory compliance and reporting for generators (beneficial).Proven experience preparing and managing operational expenditure budgets.Skilled in supervising external service providers.Sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to energy generation assets.Applied knowledge of reporting systems.How to ApplyIf this sounds like the perfect role for you and you have the required skills and experience, please click the Apply Now button and submit your resume.
