Your Responsibilities
* Promote conferences, conventions, and trade shows to potential clients.
* Respond to inquiries about services, catering, and event offerings.
* Meet with clients to assess their needs and present suitable package options.
* Arrange and coordinate services such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transportation, etc.
* Assist prior and at event with organizing participant registrations.
* Negotiate service types and costs while adhering to budget constraints.
* Oversee contractor activities and report any discrepancies from work orders.
* Provide daily administrative support, manage client relationships, coordinate event collateral, and handle customer service inquiries.
About you
* Hold a qualification in communications, marketing, events or related fields OR 1-2 years of relevant experience.
* Highly motivated and organised
* Have an internal drive to get things done, enjoy problem-solving, and seek opportunities for growth.
* Thrive in a dynamic environment
