What’s the opportunity?
We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to drive the success of the Subaru brand across the region. You will be responsible for managing vehicle sales, dealer development, and ensuring the fulfillment of the Sales Business Plan. This role plays a critical part in aligning regional sales activities with national objectives, ensuring maximum results through effective business development and customer retention initiatives.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Sales & Business Management: Manage regional sales activities, identify sales opportunities, and drive the execution of the Sales Business Plan.
* Dealer Development: Support dealers in achieving their business plans, ensuring alignment with sales targets and marketing initiatives.
* Performance Monitoring: Provide monthly reports on KPI achievements, implementing action plans to address any underperformance.
* NPS Improvement: Develop regional plans to enhance Net Promoter Scores (NPS), monitoring dealer-level efforts to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
* Budget Management: Oversee budget allocation and expenditure for regional activities, ensuring optimal use of resources.
* Safety Leadership: Maintain a strong focus on Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), proactively managing risks to ensure a safe environment.
About you:
* 5 to 8 years of wholesale vehicle sales experience within the automotive industry
* Strong knowledge of the competitive automotive landscape
* Proven success in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and mentoring
* Ability to drive results and meet ambitious sales targets
* Exceptional planning, execution, and problem-solving skills
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills
* Customer-centric approach with solid business acumen
