About the Company:
A fast-growing and dynamic company at the forefront of the geotechnical industry is seeking experienced Geotechnical Lab Technicians to join its expanding team in both Sydney & Brisbane. The Laboratory Department consists of a diverse group of professionals, ranging from trainee technicians to seasoned industry experts. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including field and laboratory testing, and will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients while adhering to strict Health & Safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct laboratory tests on construction materials and soils.
* Perform data collection, analysis, and calculations.
* Estimate material costs and ensure projects meet required specifications.
* Set up and operate technical instruments to gather geotechnical data.
* Take measurements, make calculations, and maintain detailed records.
* Liaise with internal staff, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project operations.
* Adhere to site Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience Required:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT).
* Strong knowledge of Australian and TfNSW Test Methods.
* Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, with a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
* Radiation Nuke Licence (essential).
* OHS Construction White Card (essential).
* Full manual driving licence (preferred).
