Dedicated to maintaining a vibrant community, they value respect, integrity, and excellence across all areas.We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the management team and oversee all functions of the finance and accounting department.In this role, you will ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant, supporting the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in finance management, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Financial Control & Compliance: Oversee financial controls, maintaining consistent systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.Financial Reporting: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including statutory reporting, cashflow forecasting, and reconciliations to provide reliable financial insights.Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Leadership team, delivering financial analyses, reports, and forecasts to support informed decision-making.Operational Excellence: Oversee key finance functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, fixed asset management, and compliance with statutory obligations such as FBT, BAS, and superannuation.Continuous Improvement: Drive cost optimisation and enhance financial systems, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency across the organisation.Technical Expertise: Act as the primary source of technical accounting guidance and lead external audit processes.Team Development: Foster a high-performing finance team through coaching and development, ensuring the team’s readiness for current and future roles.Experience & Qualifications:Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in finance management, ideally within aged care or related sectors.Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial control, compliance, and risk management practices.Communication Skills: Advanced ability to present financial information clearly and guide cross-functional teams.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CA certification required.The Opportunity?This is a chance to play a crucial role within an organisation at the forefront of Perth’s aged care sector.
