At our Northam depot, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing Western Power's fleet of heavy vehicle road transport and plant machinery.
Your role will include:
Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on road transport vehicles and plant.Ensuring all equipment is kept in peak working condition to support operations.What Makes You a Great Fit Base Trade qualification (AQF3) in either Heavy Duty Mechanics, Auto Electrics, Mechanical Fitter or Welding.High Risk licence class Forklift.Valid WA 'HR' and/or 'HC' Driver's License (as required).Relevant Network Authorisation including Basic Emergency Life Support (must be obtained within the first month of employment).Demonstrated industry experience as a Mechanical Tradesperson.Combination of either Hydraulics, Electrics or Welding skills with a demonstrated technical experience/ability to 35 Fleet Competency points above Base Trade level.Intermediate Written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
