You will play a key part in the learning experiences of our students and be part of the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills trainingBe part of making a difference in the communityThe opportunityUse your experience to engage students, use effective learning techniques and maintain a student centred approachIdentify barriers to learning to support student attendanceBring learning to life for students and use different forms of communication to gain positive outcomesConduct pre-training assessments and implement training to meet contract requirementsAbout youAbility to work with a diverse participantsBe a driven, supportive and community minded person, working with learners and in some regions, non-English speakers to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learningAble to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employmentHave the capacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment at any given timeExcellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational areaQualificationsCurrent Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education plus Bachelor with TESOL orAn undergraduate degree with a post graduate qualification in TESOL or equivalent qualifications or willingness to complete a post graduate qualification in TESOLKnowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferredDiversity and InclusionWe are proud to hold the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice Citation and be a recognised Disability Confident Company.
