About the Opportunity The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is looking for a full-time Coordinator Water Services based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, WA.
Reporting to the Manager of Water, Waste, and Sustainability, this role is responsible for leading and managing the daily and future operations of the Water Services business unit, including sewer, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the maintenance, renewal, and upgrade of sewer, wastewater, and recycled water assets Leading and mentoring the Water Services team to ensure high-performance standards Managing compliance with regulatory licensing and reporting requirements Developing and maintaining asset management systems and plans for the Water Services business unit Managing procurement processes and overseeing contractor performance Identifying and implementing innovative solutions for water quality management and reporting About You We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in water services and infrastructure management. You will be a collaborative leader, committed to sustainability and delivering high-quality services to the community.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Relevant qualifications in engineering (civil, environmental, mechanical, or chemical), water management, or a related field.
