Tenancy Officers (Specialist Housing Program) Permanent full time, based in Bridgewater and Launceston Loreto Community Housing manages over 3 000 social and affordable housing properties state-wide and are building many new properties in response to current need. However, we are about much more than bricks and mortar - our team combines construction and effective tenancy management with a strong commitment to tenant and community wellbeing. We are seeking two full time permanent tenancy officers, with a passion for providing high quality tenancy and property management services, to join our Specialist Housing Program. These positions are based in Bridgewater and Launceston and will deliver tenancy management services to people in need of sustainable accommodation – including people impacted by family or domestic violence. We are expanding our Specialist Housing Program by securing additional dwellings. Tenancy officers will be actively involved in promoting the program and developing networks with interested property owners. Program success relies on effectively managing the requirements of both the property owner and the eligible tenant. Your Role: · - Support the Specialist Housing Manager by ensuring the delivery of high quality, effective and compliant tenancy management. - Promote the program and its benefits to expand our network of participating property owners. - Ensure property management services are delivered in a manner that supports program objectives by providing sustainable tenancies to eligible tenants. - Develop a positive and collaborative relationship with a range of external and internal stakeholders. What you bring to the role: - Demonstrated experience in tenancy / property management and an understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act 1997. - Qualifications in property management or community services are highly desirable. - An understanding of, and sensitivity to, the needs of people facing challenges that can impact their housing situation. - A demonstrable ability to develop and strengthen networks with property owners in order to meet program targets.
