About the Team Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains.
With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets.
The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
About the Opportunity As an Infrastructure Maintainer, you will be operating and performing general maintenance activities associated heavy rail bound plant and equipment.
We will pay for all of your training and provide you with on-the-job mentoring in order for you to succeed.
You need to have good written and oral communication skills together with the ability to work in a team environment whilst holding safety as a core value.
You will be happy to work outdoors in rain, hail or shine and won't be afraid to get your hands dirty and contribute to our team.

Carry out routine and ad-hoc maintenance duties on ARTC's network Undertake safeworking in-line with rules and procedures Participate in the On-Call roster at the provisioning centre.
Participate and assist in problem solving associated with the asset performance or condition.
