As an Experience Designer, you’re constantly trying to innovate for your products and projects; doing the same old is not something you have in your repertoire.This role will see you solving design problems across digital platforms used by our retail banking customers, including Netbank and the CommBank App. You will work across complex and highly visible projects that will provide unique challenges to deliver great value to our customers.See yourself in our teamThe Superannuation team is responsible for delivering the first to market customer experience and strategic vision for the Essential Super product across all digital touchpoints within the customer journey at the Bank. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with the Essential Super Digital Delivery team, product stakeholders, and third-party stakeholders to deliver customer-driven outcomes.As the UX designer in this team, you will be responsible for delivering customer-centric designs across our CommBank, NetBank, and App experiences, applying your strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. You will be part of the Experience Design Chapter, to hone your craft, use best practices, and collaborate with UX Designers, UI Designers, Researchers, and Content Writers.Working across a portfolio of products and projects, you’ll keep your customer hat on to create effective, cohesive design solutions that meet the needs of varied users.Our team is comprised of researchers, interaction designers, usability and accessibility experts, and visual designers. You will work within a high-performing, talented design team who will support you as you grow your capabilities with design complexities. This role reports to an Experience Design Lead.Your skills and experienceYou are an enthusiastic problem-solver with excellent visualization skills. You’re good at:Human-centered design, understanding the relationships between people’s behaviors and digital products, systems thinking, capable of designing for the holistic ecosystem beyond the screen, leading the resolution of problems at all levels of detail: from the big picture to the nuts and bolts.You are comfortable designing across web, responsive mobile, and native apps.Rapid prototyping, comfortable with various methodologies from free-hand sketching to whiteboard facilitation to pixel-perfect wireframing.Recognizing aesthetic and seamless digital experiences, knowing the difference between “good” and “great” work.Experience in Agile and/or LEAN projects.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Sound commercial acumen and strong communication and collaboration skills.If this sounds like you then apply today!If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
