About the Position

As a Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in maintaining culinary standards, mentoring staff, and contributing to menu development in a dynamic club that values its employees.
Position Description
* Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
* Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth service delivery.
* Help with menu development and dish presentation.
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating.
* Ensure stock levels are managed and food cost targets are met.
* Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
Position Requirements
* Experience in a similar Sous Chef role, preferably within a club or high-volume venue.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with stock management and menu costing.
