Roadworx is seeking experienced HC/MC Drivers for multiple permanent and casual positions (casual positions for a 3-month minimum). Successful candidates will be responsible for driving various truck and trailer combinations in the Wollongong and Sydney Metro areas, with occasional travel to regional NSW.
Driver Positions Available: Tipper/Semi Drivers: Responsible for transporting aggregates and asphalt materials between quarries, our asphalt production plant, and client sites. Float Drivers: Tasked with transporting our mobile plant and equipment to and from our depot and between project sites. Equipment includes profilers, rollers, pavers, shuttle buggies, stabilisers, graders, excavators, and other machinery used within the Roadworx Group. Role Requirements: Permanent and casual positions available. Standard workdays are Monday to Friday, with potential weekend or night shifts to meet client requirements. Some regional travel may be involved. The Float Driver position will be located in the Wollongong area. For the right candidate, there is the possibility of being based out of Ingleburn. Tipper and semi-truck driver positions will also be based in the Wollongong area, with the same opportunity for the right candidates to be based out of Ingleburn. HR licensed drivers willing to upgrade to HC may be considered. Candidate Requirements: Current HC Heavy Vehicle Licence with a good driving record. General Construction Induction Card (White Card). Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol test. Ideal candidates will be reliable, fit, energetic, and able to work effectively in a team environment. A strong commitment to safety is essential. Minimum of 3 years' experience operating a heavy combination vehicle. For the Float Driver role, experience in the road construction industry, including the ability to operate, load, and transport mobile plant, is required. Float drivers should have knowledge of load restraint and oversized load requirements within NSW. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Chain of Responsibility (COR) is necessary.
