Job Summary
This is a full-time temporary position at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, working in the Mental Health Services at Mile End. As a Social Worker at Elpida House CRC, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and recovery services to residents with mental health conditions.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include providing specialist assessments, therapeutic interventions, and family/carer support to ensure residents have the tools and resources needed to thrive in the community. You will also be responsible for advocating for residents, coordinating with mental health teams, primary care providers, and external organisations to promote individualised recovery plans.
By empowering residents to participate in meaningful community activities, you will contribute to their enhanced functioning and well-being.
Working Collaboratively
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to develop rehabilitation plans in partnership with residents, families, and key stakeholders. You will also provide guidance and supervision to Community Rehabilitation Workers, fostering their professional growth while ensuring the highest standards of care are upheld.

What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualification in Social Work, with eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Ability to engage with high-needs consumers, conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and mental state assessments, and develop tailored rehabilitation strategies.
* Experience applying a range of therapeutic interventions, recovery principles, and individualised care planning for people with mental health challenges.
* Proven ability to work autonomously, supervise non-clinical staff, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professional integrity.
