This role will be based in our Brisbane office.Suitable applicants will have/be:Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering15+ years’ professional industry experience in mechanical design/design review of hydro and/or pumped storage hydro systemsTechnical expertise in hydropower generation equipment – pumps/turbines, hydro generator, main inlet valvesDetail engineering design of E&M equipment for hydropower and pumped storage schemes (turbines, main inlet valves, mechanical components for generators, mechanical BoP and hydromechanical equipment)Extensive experience in feasibility studies, tender and detail design, site supervision, commissioning and rehabilitationSound understanding in mechanical design to Australian standardsIn return, you will be supported by a market leading Dams and Hydropower team where your fresh ideas and enthusiasm will be welcomed and rewarded.
