About the role This position involves designing and implementing customised programs that aim to uplift individuals' psychological, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical well-being.

This role requires the application of clinical reasoning skills and task analysis to identify the unique needs of each child.
Evaluating and assessing the abilities, interests, needs, strengths, and weaknesses of clients Analyse the individual requirements of each child, considering factors such as their developmental stage, cognitive abilities, and physical capabilities.
This information will serve as a foundation for designing tailored programs that address their specific needs.
Create customised programs that cater to their individual needs, empowering them to grow, interact with others, and lead healthy lifestyles.
Working with children to enhance their social, emotional, and physical well-being through recreational and therapeutic activities while considering their unique needs and goals.
Planning and organising recreational activities and exercise programs that are suitable for children, considering their age, abilities, and interests.
Designing structured schedules of activities to support children's social, emotional, and physical health.
Using therapeutic assessment techniques and task analysis to assess the specific needs of each child.
Identifying areas where children may require additional support or therapeutic interventions.
Communicating and collaborating with parents or guardians to gain insights into their children's goals and ambitions.
Ensuring that the planned activities align with the parents' expectations for their child's development.
About you: The minimum requirements for the position are: Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills are crucial for building rapport, fostering trust, and clearly conveying instructions and information to clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Being able to attentively listen to clients, showing genuine interest and understanding, and responding appropriately to their needs and concerns.
Ability to speak more than one language (Brazilian Portuguese is a must) At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Diversional Therapist A minimum of an AQF Certificate IV or higher qualification in a relevant field.
