The roledelivers specialist contribution to the development of fisheryecosystem models for each of the four South Australian MarineScalefish Fishery (MSF) management zones (West Coast, Spencer Gulf,GSV/KI and South East), and as an MSE tool to inform and optimiseregional management and harvest strategies for key MSF species, including Snapper, King George Whiting, and Garfish. Models willintegrate data from other marine industries and sectors (e.g.,recreational fishing, charter and indigenous fisheries, aquaculture, desalination, offshore renewables), providing amulti-sector decision support tool for ecosystem-based management. The role leads the timely delivery of high-quality science andresearch services to internal and external clients.
