Support Worker – Female Candidates Encouraged | Night Shifts | Personal Care Focus

Location: Karratha/Roebourne

Part-time or casual opportunity, up to 38 hours per week.
Must be available for night shifts, including sleepovers.
We’re seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are available for overnight shifts and have a strong focus on personal care. This role provides a variety of support services including personal care, domestic and lifestyle support, and community inclusion, all guided by the participant’s individual NDIS support plan.
Due to the specific support needs of participants, female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality support that enhances independence, encourages participation, and aligns with individual goals.
* Deliver culturally appropriate support that respects the diversity of participants.
* Take direction from the person being supported, their family, and EPIC’s Client Coordinator.
* Maintain professionalism and positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
* Accurately complete documentation, including case notes and incident reports, using EPIC’s systems.
* Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, particularly during night-time hours.
* Perform other duties as required by your manager.
* Current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain within three months)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
* WA “C” class driver’s licence (or overseas equivalent with valid temporary visa)
* Working with Children Check (mandatory)
* Availability for night shifts and sleepovers
* Demonstrated respect for people with disability and commitment to inclusion
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively
* Willingness to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends and after-hours
* Previous experience providing personal care
* Experience supporting people with disability (formally or informally)
* Experience working with children
* Complex care experience (e.g. PEG feeding, fluids, puree diets)
* Manual handling experience or qualification
* Knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards
* Certificate IV in Disability or Community Services
