About this opportunity
This is a great opportunity for motivated and dedicated customer service professionals who while conducting ticket inspections and taking the appropriate action with offences detected, will work towards assisting in providing a safe, modern and friendly environment to the traveling public.
Reporting to the Team Manager, Authorised Offices, the role specially involves;
1. Providing a high degree of customer service by being approachable and knowledgeable towards our travelling public.
2. Reporting all offences detected and submitting relevant reports in a timely and accurate detailed manner.
3. Assisting in the security and preservation of Yarra Trams vehicles and property.
4. Contributing to the maximisation of fare compliance on Yarra Trams
5. Successfully completing legislative assessments relative to the role.
About you
Ideally you will have:
6. Strong, proven customer service skills, ideally gained in a face to face, fast paced environment. A high degree of communication skills both written and verbal.
7. Strong comprehension of the English Language to assist with completing legal statements.
8. Confidence and flexibility
9. Ability to think and respond productively.
10. Ability to work in a close team environment and/or autonomously.
11. Willingness to work a variety of shifts and irregular hours, over a rotating 7-day week.
12. Competence in various computer software and proven experience with various Microsoft applications.
13. A high standard of personal presentation.
