Ventura is onwards to moving to an electric fleet where our workshop team are upskilling to ensure we have compliant and safe transport for our passengers The Position: Our Workshop is currently looking for a Body Repairer / Panel Beater to add to the existing team at our Dandenong Workshop. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking day to day heavy vehicle repairs to ensure our buses are well presented, safe and roadworthy. Tasks include, but are not limited to: • Conduct repairs of various vehicles and ensure they are maintained in a safe and workable condition in a cost-effective manner • Assess and plan jobs • Conduct fibreglass repairs • Manufacturer replacement bus panels and body structural components • Apply body decals • Complete work orders, including written vehicle reports What are we looking for: Along with a great attitude and work ethic, the right applicant for the role will possess: • Cert III Body Building or Panel Beater • Experience in smash repairing, body building and panel beating (heavy vehicle experience highly regarded) • Excellent planning and organisational skills • Current Drivers Licence (MR or higher licence desirable) • Be a team player • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) What we offer: • Excellent salary & secure career • Modern facilities & excellent support • Career development & training • Uniform provided • Annual Incentive programs Ventura is an equal opportunity employer and are committed to reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve.
