Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with all customers and key stakeholders. This involves managing a high-volume ledger, updating debtor information, and monitoring credit limits.
You will utilise your strong problem-solving skills to ensure timely resolution to customer queries. This requires following company processes and procedures with regards to collection and escalation.
In addition, you will engage and work collectively across teams to reduce overdue debt. You will also monitor and review high-risk accounts with Management, work proactively to increase cash flow within customers' allocated terms, and reconcile complex accounts with excellent attention to detail.
Other key responsibilities include conducting periodic credit reviews of existing accounts, organising and running meetings with key ORG stakeholders for delinquent accounts, accessing and utilising customer platforms for submission of invoices/statements, supplying reporting on customers when requested, and monitoring and actioning credit limits in-house with the appropriate personnel.
Desired Skills and Experience
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in Credit is required.
* Knowledge of the Credit Control function and end-to-end Accounts Receivable framework is essential.
