What You'll Be Doing:
Own the Shutdowns: You'll manage shutdowns on Tier 1 mine sites like a pro—leading your team to safely and efficiently complete scheduled shuts.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building: From head office to remote mine sites, you'll be the face of the business, ensuring top-tier service delivery.
You'll build solid client relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
Contract Management: Experience in managing contracts—scope planning, execution, KPI tracking, performance reviews, and detailed reporting.

Team Leadership: You'll oversee a well-versed team —ensuring everyone's on the same page and firing on all cylinders.
Planning & Execution: Prepare detailed work plans, lead pre-start meetings, conduct safety briefings, and make sure your team is executing tasks safely and efficiently.
P&L Responsibility: Input to the unit's budget and expenditure.
You'll forecast, plan, and manage resources to meet financial targets.
Continuous Improvement: Conduct site visits, safety audits, customer satisfaction checks, and lead the charge on process improvements to keep raising the bar.
What You Need to Bring:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Supervisor or Team Leader role within shutdown environments—ideally with mining or heavy industry experience.
Technical Know-How: A strong grasp of the mining sector, including hands-on experience with changeouts, fault-finding, repairs, and shutdown processes.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams both on-site and in administrative roles.
You'll need to mentor, motivate, and (when needed) hold people accountable.
Project Management & Reporting: You've got a knack for managing projects end-to-end, with experience in contract management, execution reporting, and KPI tracking.
Communication: Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal—you'll be liaising with clients, upper management, and your own team regularly.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Office365 (Excel, Teams, etc.
), ERP systems like JDEdwards or SAP, and project management software.
You're someone who can leverage tech to streamline processes.
Essential Tickets & Licences:
S26 Qualification Working at Heights and Confined Spaces certifications National Police Check (current and clear) Valid Driver's License Ability to pass a full medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen (DAS)
Additional Must-Haves:
Permanent working rights in Australia (sorry, no visa sponsorships) Willingness to travel frequently to Tier 1 mine sites across WA Reside in Western Australia—ideally, you're already local and ready to go
Preferred Extras (but not deal-breakers):
Formal Management or Project Management training Trade qualification (not essential but a bonus) Previous experience with HSEQ standards and compliance systems
