As the Nurse Practitioner – Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) you will have a pivotal role in delivering pharmacotherapy services to clients of Latrobe Community Health Service, in addition to providing emergency telehealth support to other areas within Gippsland as required.
You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive, wrap around treatment for clients accessing pharmacotherapy, which may include withdrawal management, or treatment and management of Hepatitis C. You will provide support as required, to the Gippsland Addiction Medicine Specialist Clinic and the Gippsland Pharmacotherapy Area Based Network (PABN).
To be successful, you will require;
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) endorsed as a NP.
* Ability to apply for Medicare Provider numbers addressed to LCHS locations.
* Current professional indemnity insurance cover.
* Victorian Drivers licence
* A current Working with Children Check
