The Centre:
Guardian Murwillumbah is a 106 place centre. Our beautiful Murwillumbah learning centre offers an inspiring environment with five purpose-built learning spaces and a separate baby sleep room. Each area is filled with high-quality resources for collaborative, creative play-based learning.
The Opportunity
1. Develop a seasonal, nutritious menu that respects individual requirements regarding medical conditions, food preferences, and cultural considerations and ensures children's health and wellbeing.
2. Ensure children's health and wellbeing.
3. Build strong relationships with the children, Educators, families, and the Centre community.
4. Ensure best practice food safety and hygienic standards are always upheld.
To be considered, you will have:
1. Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
2. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or working towards is desirable.
3. Experience in a childcare kitchen is desirable.
4. Experience in cooking for dietary, cultural, and allergy needs.
5. An awareness of your personal responsibilities under the current Child Protection Laws.
6. Ability to work part-time/5 days (Monday to Friday).
7. Current Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain (NSW WWCC).
