We take pride in our ability to deliver exceptional products that meet the highest standards of quality and value for customers.About the RoleAs the Merchandising Manager, you will report to the National Retail Manager and work alongside the team at the WB headquarters in Dandenong South.
We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Merchandising Manager to join us.
This role allows the successful candidate to shape the merchandising strategy for our local and global product offerings and contribute directly to the retail experience for customers across markets.This is a senior-level role in retail management, with the potential for career progression to Retail or potentially other Leadership positions in the business.Key Duties:Manage all tasks related to WeatherBeeta Brand product selection, key partner brand selection, and prioritisation of these brands through our Retail network, including online.Develop and implement key metrics/KPIs, business rules, and structure regarding retail SKU count, WB product percentages, floor space planning/layout, other in-store stock/product ranges and percentages, product promotions, and staff training on specific brands and products.Manage all aspects of product supply to the shop floor, including managing suppliers and the supply chain process to WB locally and overseas and all direct supply to Horseland Retail Stores across Australia.Support the National Retail Manager, who is accountable for all Horseland buying decisions, retail promotions, and pricing.
This includes implementing commercial agreements, coordinating across teams, liaising with different suppliers to deliver product lists for promotions, and prioritising WB brand products.Coordinate product code creation for direct supply with data.Be known as the Specialist inventory contact person in the team for all direct suppliers.Coordinate all aspects of product launch to Retail and collaborate across departments to ensure successful results.About YouDriven, enthusiastic, prepared to have a proper crack and thrives on competition – you decide on this, quirky, gets attention.Relevant and minimum 5 years experience in a similar role - in sportswear, outdoor apparel, footwear in a fashion retailer including product planning and coordination, preferably within a large retail business.Understanding of product management and sell-through in stores and online.Tertiary Degree - Marketing, Retail Management, or related field, desirable.Ability to prioritise and execute high volume workload with attention to detail under set timelines.Proficient in IT systems.Hands-on approach to getting things done, flexible individual with a positive attitude.Willingness to get involved and learn outside of their immediate role as needed.Well-organised and methodical operator.Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing product portfolios effectively.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and customer insights to inform decision-making.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to think strategically while executing operationally.Valid Drivers licence and own car.PR or Australian Citizenship (no temp or visa applicants).This is an ideal role for a self-driven, motivated, passionate, enthusiastic, down-to-earth, and commercially minded Merchandiser keen to work across the business, further learning, and progress within our leading Equestrian Retail and Wholesale business.BenefitsCompetitive pay commensurate with experience.Further career progression across the organisation.Free onsite parking.Staff discounts on products.Excellent office facilities, staff recreational areas, and fun activities.Apply now, if you meet the job criteria attaching a cover letter and CV.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for a brief phone interview initially.
