About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MPU Operator, Shotfirer, or Both to join our team at the highly regarded Jellinbah Mine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to cross train and upskill in either discipline.

Key Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operate Mobile Processing Units (MPUs) for the production and delivery of explosives.
* Assist in shotfiring operations, gaining hands-on experience and training in the role.
* Conduct pre-start checks to ensure all systems are functional and equipment is safe for operation.
* Perform regular quality tests on bulk products and ensure they meet required specifications.
* Handle loading operations with a keen focus on safety, ensuring correct materials are loaded into blastholes as per design requirements.
* Participate in safety protocols and workplace Take 5's, toolbox meetings, and continuous safety improvement.
Requirements
* Experience operating MPUs or similar equipment in an open-cut mining environment.
* Interest or experience in Shotfiring operations and a willingness to upskill if required.
* A solid understanding of safety practices and a commitment to maintaining a zero-harm culture.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Basic maintenance skills and an ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
Essential Requirements
* Current HR Driver's License.
* Current QLD Coal Board Medical.
* Standard 11.
* RII qualifications (RIIBLA201A & RIIBLA203A) are highly desirable but not essential.
