About the Role: As an Account Manager / BDM you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s continued success by developing and implementing sales and service strategies aligned with company values and strategic goals. What You’ll Do: Sales Call Planning: Establish and maintain a sales call plan to ensure accounts are serviced at agreed frequencies based on their status, classification, geographical location, and sales potential. Account Management: Use CRM systems to effectively manage and maintain all Specialist Air Conditioning Dealers. Opportunity Identification: Actively identify and pursue opportunities whilst ensuring a high standard of customer experience at all levels. Customer Engagement: Deliver the highest possible after-sales service and product commissioning, ensuring all activities are conducted ethically and professionally. Training and Presentations: Conduct product training sessions and present relevant company and product updates to key stakeholders, fostering loyalty through exceptional customer service. Market Growth: Identify areas for increased business and market share growth, and develop partnerships with key decision-makers within the industry. Reporting and Forecasting: Compile and submit weekly activity reports covering objectives, achievements, and competitive activity, while analysing internal and external reports to identify improvements or opportunities. Travel: Some regional travel will be required as part of the role – including North of the M4: Blue Mountains to North shore & Central West NSW Bathurst, Orange, Forbes, Parkes, Dubbo, Mudgee. What We’re Looking For: Experience in the electronics or appliances industry, working within a dealer network. Familiarity with the Electrical Wholesale Channel (highly desirable). Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong time management, organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to conduct training sessions and product information presentations. A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for building relationships. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
