Sydney Investment Banking Contract or Temporary
Our client is a leading global investment bank seeking an Executive Assistant for a 12-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have over 4+ years' experience as an EA/PA/TA, preferably from financial services or professional services firms, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate complex diaries, including internal and external meetings, calls, and video conferences.
* Maintain team diaries and contact lists.
* Prioritize telephone answering and respond to messages and requests promptly and accurately.
* Book flights and accommodation for the team while being aware of travel policy guidelines.
* Process expenses and complete accurate expense reports for the team each month.
* Assist bankers with general administration tasks, source research information, news runs, and project materials as required.
* Coordinate couriers and outgoing mail, distribute incoming mail.
* Perform general administration tasks, including document production in Word, and ad hoc project work.
* Organize client entertainment events, such as lunches and dinners, in collaboration with the Events Manager and bankers.
* Foster a cohesive work environment within the EA team and ensure support cover during lunch hours and other absences.
* Build and maintain relationships with staff in offshore offices.
Requirements
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Prior experience as an EA/PA/TA in investment banking or financial services.
* Experience providing support at senior levels of an organization.
* Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
* Extensive experience in administration in a fast-paced environment.
