The Role: We are seeking a HR Delivery Driver to join our Lindsay Rural team in Woolgoolga for local delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of merchandise. Your main responsibilities will include: Deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites. Assist in loading/unloading and load restraint as required to prevent freight movement and allow for safe transport. Maintain logs of deliveries, obtaining signatures for deliveries made. Communicate with warehouse or pickup point for any special instructions. Interact with customers in a professional manner, representing the company. In-store counter sales as required. About you: The candidates we are looking for will have: A current unrestricted manual HR Licence as a minimum. A current forklift licence highly regarded but not essential. Knowledge of & experience with load restraint and mass requirements. Knowledge of & experience with the use of manual pallet jacks. A commitment to workplace health and safety. Reliability and punctuality with good communication skills. A strong customer focus. Competent computer skills. Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems. To be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test. Provide a current traffic print out. Have the ability to meet the physical demands of the position – this includes repetitive bending & lifting of rural merchandise when loading & unloading at the depot and on farm.
