Disability Services provides high-quality services aimed at supporting individuals to remain independent within the community.About youOur Disability Support Workers (DSW) provide quality care and support to people with disabilities to create and live the lifestyle of their choosing while empowering them to have a voice and achieve their goals.Services which may include:Supporting clients to reach their goals through direct and group based activities including community access and engagementProviding individual personal care servicesPerform a range of domestic duties including cleaning, shopping and cookingAssist to develop, review and update support plans that are achievable and client focusedSkills, Experience & RequirementsExperience and knowledge in the Disability sectorCertificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV Disability or similarKnowledge of and respect for the rights and choices of clients and their familiesPerson-Centred approach to providing care and servicesExcellent communication skills – both verbal and writtenCurrent Level 2 First Aid and CPR CertificateCurrent valid Victorian Driver’s LicenceNDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children’s CheckValid vaccinations status for COVID-19 and flu vaccination.You may be required to work a range of morning, afternoon, weekend and full day shifts!If you are an experienced Disability Support Worker with the skills and experience required, please APPLY NOW.
