The team has a wide client base with a range of major insurers and employers, including in mining, and is led by a Partner who is ranked in Doyle's Guide as a Leading Lawyer. As part of this practice, you will gain high level exposure to workers' compensation and insurance litigation from an industry leading team.We care about and invest in future talent. As a Law Graduate or Restricted Practitioner at Moray & Agnew you will work closely with and be mentored by a Partner and senior lawyers. The invaluable experience you will gain will be 'learned on the job'. You will also have access to our learning and development program.The experience you can expect to gain includes the below:Assisting in preparing matters for arbitration and trial.Early exposure to advocacy including attending chambers summons and directions hearings.Mentorship and hands-on experience and exposure in mediation, conciliation and negotiation.Drafting legal documents and correspondence.Preparing court documents for litigated matters.Legal research tasks.About you You will have completed your law degree and may be currently completing your post graduate studies and PLT, about to start your post graduate studies, or recently admitted. You should be eager to learn and develop and be passionate about a career in law. You will have strong academic results - and beyond your academic successes, you also possess the ability to apply your critical thinking skills.
