This position contributes to the effective functioning of the diabetes service by providing strong clinical expertise and supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering culturally inclusive, patient-centred care.RequirementsMandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.A post graduate qualification or currently enrolled in a post graduate program in a relevant area of study is highly desirable however any Clinical Nurses, with a strong interest in Diabetes Management and considering a career pathway towards a credentialed diabetes educator are encouraged to apply.Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.The position involves travel by car or light aircraft to deliver outreach diabetes clinics and services across the communities within the North West Hospital and Health Service catchment.
