We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team and showcase their skills in our kitchen at North Street Store in Cottesloe and Wards Central Dining in Shenton Park.
About the role
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook a variety of creative and delicious dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
2. Follow proper food safety standards to maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
3. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and efficiently manage stock rotation.
4. Mentorship of junior kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and productive team dynamic.
5. Assisting the Head Chef with weekly orders, preparation, staffing, stock control and health and safety.
6. Drive customer satisfaction through delivering exceptional meals to Ward Central Dining's customers.
Experience Requirements:
1. Previous experience working as a Chef De Partie in a high-volume commercial kitchen is highly regarded.
2. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavour profiles, and food presentation.
3. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
4. Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and/or autonomously.
6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
