We are seeking motivated, passionate, and driven Game Development Officers in the Metro North, Metro Central and Metro South Football District on an ongoing casual basis.

The successful candidates will be appointed early 2025. We are looking to fill multiple positions in the following roles through the Perth region:

The nature of the Game Development Officer role is diverse and works across multiple areas within the WA Football Commission with the major aim to grow and promote football participation.
">
Duties are dependent on the appointed role and may include:
">
">
* Assist with the delivery of Auskick Gala Days/Carnivals
">
* Liaise and work with parents and football volunteers
">
* Opportunities for before & after school Auskick clinics
">
* School & Community Clinics – weekday/school holiday work
">
* Plan, prepare and deliver Primary and Secondary School Football Clinics
">
* Plan, prepare and deliver Community Football Clinics
">
* Deliver Come and Try Clinics/Free School Days – Auskick and Primary/Secondary Schools
">
* Assist with delivery of the Nicky Winmar/ Kirby Bentley Carnival
">
* Promote football as a sport of choice
">
* Help & assist in Starkick Carnivals and Activities
">
* Assist with AFL/AFLW Half-Time including Auskick and Little League
">
* Opportunity to work at Optus Stadium, including being on ground
">
* Delivery of Half-Time Little League at the WAFL venue
">
* Assist with Auskick activations as required
">
* AFL Nines and Superkick - Weekday Work
">
* Coordinate the delivery of AFL Nines and Superkick Competitions
">
* Football Fundamentals - Weekday/Weekend Work
">
* Coordinating and delivery of the program
">
* Working with ages 2-5 on the fundamentals of Football
">
* Working with parents
">
* Run on a smaller scale
">
">
As these roles are casual, there is also flexibility to pick up a combination of weekday and weekend work within other AFL programs.

* WWC Card or willingness to obtain

* National Police Clearance (E)

* Drivers License and/or reliable transport and willingness to travel

* Ability to work outside of normal working hours

* First Aid Certificate (E) or willingness to obtain

* An understanding of the WA Football structure and system
">
* Understanding of participation pathways in community sport
">

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
