Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on crushing equipment, mobile plant, light vehicles and other equipment as required.
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
* Disassemble and reassemble crushing equipment components.
* Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, crushing equipment, and hydraulic systems.
* Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
* Collaborate with team members to complete complex repair projects.
Machines:
* Terex Finlay/Striker Crushing Equipment
* Variety of Mobile Plant
* Light Vehicles
Skills/Qualifications:
* Current & Valid Manual Driver's License (HR Preferred)
* National Police Clearance
* Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
* High Risk Forklift Licence (Desirable)
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter working on crushing equipment, mobile plant, or similar equipment.
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to safety.
