Senior Project Manager – Property & Development
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of property and development projects on King Island, Tasmania.
Working with a privately owned tourism and hospitality business, this role is central to the delivery of strategic infrastructure projects that support the continued growth of a unique, high-profile destination.
The successful candidate will take ownership of several concurrent projects, including the delivery of worker accommodation facilities, the construction of luxury guest houses, and the management of a multi-lot subdivision with associated services and strata planning.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end project role that will require strong leadership, practical site coordination, consultant and contractor management, and an ability to balance commercial outcomes with quality delivery.
The ideal applicant will bring extensive experience in property development or construction project management, particularly in regional or complex environments.
Familiarity with residential subdivision, remote site logistics, contractor engagement, and civil services delivery will be highly regarded.
A key aspect of the role will be proactive problem-solving, particularly around land servicing and infrastructure constraints, including water access and drainage challenges.
You'll be supported by an agile executive leadership team and will work directly with executive stakeholders to shape outcomes.
This role will include regular site travel from mainland Australia, and the successful candidate must be comfortable operating in a regional setting and working closely with local contractors and council representatives.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a scenic, fast-evolving environment where your impact will be visible, valued, and long-term.
An attractive remuneration package is on offer for the right candidate.
