We offer before school care, after school care, and vacation care – and we're licensed for up to 195 children.We're all about creating a safe, supportive, and engaging space where kids can learn, play, and grow.
Our programs are high-quality and filled with age-appropriate experiences – from outdoor fun and creative expression to building life skills and trying new activities.
We welcome children of all primary school ages, with activities designed for all skill levels and abilities.If this role sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including: Program planning, delivery, and documentation Staff rostering and supervision Administration and financial management tasks (e.g.
fee collection) Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families Participate in professional and personal development Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services Job Requirements: An ACECQA-approved school-age qualification, including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts.
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations Experience in the education and care of children.
