About the role:
Located in Brisbane or Melbourne, we are seeking to appoint a National Administrative Officer on casual basis to provide varied administrative and project support to the National Project Manager and National Project Officer. Being an active member of the ENVISAGE Research Team, you will support administrative functions and work with other staff within the project including internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the timely and effective delivery of the ENVISAGE projects and support the ongoing success of the national implementation of ENVISAGE across all states and territories in Australia. This will entail supporting the ENVISAGE Chief Investigators, managing and coordinating the National Project Manager's diary, scheduling meetings, project implementation support, upkeep of ENVISAGE Moodle (Learning Management System) in collaboration with the project team, and other network upkeep (the ENVISAGE website, OneDrive/SharePoint administration support, data collection via RedCap or similar).
Responsibilities:
* Providing administrative support to the National Project Manager and Chief Investigators.
* Providing operational support to the National Project Officer and Chief Investigators.
* Engaging effectively and collaboratively with researchers and professionals across disciplines and sectors, as well as with people with lived experience of disability, service providers and policy makers to build and sustain strong partnerships for mutual benefit and enable delivery and evaluation of the ENVISAGE project.
* Coordinating national and state-based meetings, conferences and the ENVISAGE project events (which may be outside normal business hours).
* Supporting administrative activities related to collaborative agreements with consortium members and subcontractors.
* Providing administrative support to the ENVISAGE project and other meetings as required.
* Provide Customer Service to participants and service providers in supporting them from first contact, registration, rescheduling, survey completion, learning platform account and troubleshooting, to the point of attendance into a workshop.
You will need to have:
* Qualification - A tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Previous experience in a university or in the corporate sector is highly desirable.
* Experience - Proven experience in providing high level administrative support to managers/leads of complex projects.
* Skill - Demonstrated time management with ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
* Skill - Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, and capacity to manage and maintain partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience - Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders including caregivers of children with disability, researchers, clinicians in an academic and or clinical setting, organisational leadership and government sector personnel.
* Skill - Advanced level of computer literacy working with a range of computer systems and applications, including excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and experience or demonstrated ability to learn and use online research management platforms (e.g. ERM) and data capture tools (e.g. REDCap).
* Experience - Demonstrated experience coordinating face-to-face and online events and activities with multiple stakeholders.
* Skill - Demonstrated commitment to family centred service and empowering caregivers of children with developmental concerns or disabilities to take a strengths based, participation focused approach to their child and situation; and/or; Experience ("lived") raising a child with a disability.
