The request seeks to engage experienced sellers who have the capability to provide a Database Administrator. The successful candidate will focus on maintaining and sustaining Treasury's database environment, including on-premises and cloud hosted.
The Department is looking for a skilled resource that will play a key role in ensuring DBA project deliverables are met. The resource will have the ability to work across multiple work packages both on a project and a business-as-usual team.
Contract Duration: 12 months
Extension Term: 6 months

Working Arrangements: On site at least 3 days a week
Security Clearance: Must have Baseline
Minimum Requirements:
1. Tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related field and/or equivalent experience as a database administrator (8+ years).
2. Experience administering SQL Server, from legacy SQL Server 2012 to all versions of SQL Server in the Azure cloud.
3. TSQL and PowerShell scripting experience.
4. Experience with on-premises high availability clusters.
5. Experience decommissioning legacy SQL Server 2012 servers and migrating databases between different versions of SQL Server.
6. Experience with Commvault backup and restore.
