Setting new benchmarks for pioneering technology, creating revolutionary solutions and fostering a collaborative environment have helped this Australian company flourish.The RoleAs a Mechatronics Engineer, you will take part in the team's technology development tasks and will also act as an internal subject matter expert on electromechanical systems.As part of the technology development team, ideate, prototype, test and de-risk technology concepts for areas of unmet needProvide expert mechanical and electrical insights into TDG projectsConduct research, document findings, present reports and analyse data to determine trends and recommend outcomesDesign and develop prototypes that effectively investigate measurement accuracy, sources of noise, and isolation of variablesWork with the team to innovate and create, proactively identify and solve technical problemsConcept definition, experimental design, documentation, and risk managementDesign and execute test plans and experimentsCollaborate effectively with other teams to develop viable product conceptsSkills and experienceWith a degree in a relevant engineering field and 1 to 3 years' experience of working in Medical Device development, you'll have:Competence in a 3D modelling package e.g., Solidworks or CREOFamiliarity with circuit board design and troubleshootingKnowledge of Python, Matlab, LabViewProactive approach to identifying and solving technical problemsAbility to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholdersGood communication skillsKnowledge in testing methodology: preparation, execution, and analysisAbility to approach, analyse and summarise external information sourcesBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on innovative projects with a talented teamFlexible working hours and remote work optionsProfessional development and growth opportunitiesA supportive and inclusive work cultureN.B.
