This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Rubicon Organics in British Columbia while leaving a lasting legacy within an innovative, purpose-driven company.Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Education Leadership: Manage sales and educational activities, ensuring alignment with Rubicon’s goals and values.Relationship Building: Build lasting relationships with retail managers and staff, positioning Rubicon Organics as the first-choice partner for budtenders and consumers.Brand & Community Engagement: Increase brand visibility and community involvement in your territory through strategic marketing initiatives and event participation.Market Development: Identify and pursue new distribution and partnership opportunities to maximize Rubicon’s market presence and product availability.Product Training & Education: Conduct educational sessions on product quality and industry trends to empower retail staff and enhance consumer knowledge.Ideal Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a motivated, results-oriented consultant who is passionate about cannabis and eager to make a tangible impact.Customer Focused: Proven experience in cultivating relationships within retail settings, community events, and industry networks.Sales-Driven: Track record of meeting sales quotas and KPIs, including volume, distribution, and brand share targets.Strategic Execution: Ability to generate leads, manage budgets, and execute programs aligned with brand strategy and merchandising guidelines.Engaging Presenter: Skilled in delivering informative, engaging presentations to educate stakeholders on products, trends, and brand values.QualificationsLocation: Reside on Vancouver Island (Victoria or Nanaimo preferred).Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Science, or equivalent experience in a sales/cannabis role.Sales & Account Management: Retail sales and/or account management experience, ideally in cannabis, tobacco, or liquor industries.Language Skills: Bilingual in English & French is an asset.Proven Success: Track record of achieving annual plans, driving brand awareness, and executing marketing programs that enhance customer loyalty.Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and CRM software.Certifications: "Selling it Right" certification (or willingness to obtain).Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle, with flexibility for 50% travel in BC.
