Senior Microsoft .NET Developer Local Peoples is seeking enthusiastic and talented Senior Microsoft .NET Developer in the ACT, QLD, VIC to join our team as embedded members with our prestigious Government client. The Microsoft .NET developer will design and develop web/desktop applications, web services, and batch jobs using C#, .NET framework and SQL Server. In collaboration with in-house technical staff, the .NET developer will implement enhancements and resolve complex application issues for one or more of the following bespoke Department of Social Services (DSS) Microsoft .NET applications including Staff Administration, Data Exchange (DEX), Identity Manager (IDM), Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) Administration, Application Manager (Toolbox Services), Toolbox Common, ARC (Content Manager) Support Suite, and Rehabilitation Management System (Dynamics CRM). The candidate will excel in a high tempo work environment and will be able to balance several key priorities and projects simultaneously while ensuring the highest levels of quality in the work being delivered by the team. Primary Technologies • C#, Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, Azure DevOps, Dynamics CRM. Responsibilities: Create software and technical designs for the realization of complex Microsoft .NET and Dynamics CRM solutions. Technical analysis, design, software development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities. Lead the release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance for the team's developments. Review and prepare reports, briefs and corporate documentation and communicate technical findings and recommendations. Analyse and identify functional/business shortcomings in the software and effectively communicate with the team on the same. Execute independent code reviews and execute unit tests on the developed modules. Stay up to date with the newest technologies and security measures to keep web applications at the latest standard. Essential Criteria: Minimum 4 years' experience in C# programming and .NET framework development within complex IT environments (large private organisations or federal government agencies). Minimum 2 years' experience with ASP.NET web-forms, MVC and SQL Server development. Relevant qualifications (Tertiary or Certifications in .NET, Dynamics, or Azure). Experience with design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)). Experience in developing custom Identity solutions that interfaces with Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Microsoft Entra ID. Experience with DevOps practices, tools, test-driven development. Experience with Dynamics 365 and or PowerApps. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
