About This Opportunity
We are inviting applications from experienced and talented Lecturers and/or Senior Lecturers in Clinical Neuropsychology to join our School of Psychology and their dedicated academic teaching team and world-renowned researchers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our recently established Master of Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology course and play an instrumental role in delivering and steering this program. This program is the only program of its kind in Australia, with students eligible for dual registration in both Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology. The School of Psychology offers the most extensive selection of postgraduate professional training programs leading to Area of Practice Endorsement (AoPE) across Australia.
Specifically, you will develop, coordinate and deliver blended learning curriculum and innovative assessment for undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the School. This will include preparation and delivery of lectures and tutorials, coordination and leadership of tutors, and management of course assessment and marking. You will also have the opportunity to pursue, and contribute to, significant research in the field of clinical neuropsychology.
This opportunity is being offered at Academic Level B or Level C commensurate with the successful candidates' skills and experience, in accordance with the University's Criteria for Academic Performance.
As a Lecturer (Level B), you will have the opportunity to further your expertise and growing profile in teaching, research and service and engagement. At this level, you may coordinate the activities of other staff and contribute to the effective supervision of Honours and Higher Degree by Research students and, as a Teaching and Research academic, you will aspire to achieve national recognition in the field of clinical neuropsychology.
As a Senior Lecturer (Level C), you will be able to leverage your established record of achievement in teaching (including clinical teaching, where appropriate), research and service and engagement. At this level, you will lead the activities of other staff and will have an active and effective record of supervising Higher Degree by Research students successfully to completion as principal supervisor. As a Teaching and Research academic, you will achieve national recognition and have a developing international profile in the field of clinical neuropsychology.
