This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about working with clients presenting with Eating Disorders, Complex Trauma, and Neurodiversity.
You will provide individual therapy, assessments, and tailored interventions, helping clients navigate life's challenges and achieve meaningful change.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and evidence-based therapies, particularly for clients presenting with Eating Disorders, Complex Trauma, and Neurodiversity.Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, ensuring a client-centred and collaborative approach.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance client outcomes and professional development.Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards as outlined by AHPRA and relevant professional bodies.Engage in continuous professional development and supervision to maintain best practices.RequirementsFull registration as a Clinical Psychologist or a fully registered Clinical Registrar with AHPRA.Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.ABN for contracting purposes.Experience or strong interest in working with Eating Disorders, Complex Trauma, and Neurodiversity.Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, or EMDR.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to ethical practice and cultural sensitivity.Experience with Telehealth and digital health platforms.Training or interest in neurodivergent-affirming practices.Training or interest in working with clients presenting with eating disorders.Passion for working with diverse client populations, including adolescents, young adults, and adults.Training in EMDR Therapy.Training in Schema Therapy.Training in Internal Family Systems Therapy.Benefits of Joining Immersive Psychology GroupFlexible working arrangements, including face-to-face and Telehealth sessions.Extensive administrative support, allowing you to focus on client care.Access to a collaborative and supportive team environment.Opportunities for ongoing professional development, peer supervision, and case consultation.Competitive contractor rates with the flexibility to manage your caseload.Assessment tracking and materials provided.How to ApplyIf you are passionate about making a positive impact and are eager to join a dynamic and supportive team, we would love to hear from you!Please send your CV and a cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role to :
