Our client is a well-established gold producer with a number of new assets currently in development across Australia.
Due to significant growth plans and a number of assets going into production, they are currently looking for multiple Production Engineers to join their underground team.
About the opportunity:Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer, your key responsibilities will include ensuring mine plans are executable for the operations team.
You will report daily drilling and blasting results against targets and update any variances to the plan.
You will be actively involved in weekly schedule for drill and blast activities as well as carry out regular audits on drill and blasting results and ensure that the business follows industry best practice.
About you:You are a growth-focused, driven professional with a proven ability to think on your feet in an ever-changing environment.
This role is ideal for someone that is looking to make it their own and grow with a business that has substantial expansion plans in place, with another two mines in the planning stage currently.
The ideal candidate has proven underground hard rock experience, ideally completed their underground time, and has experience using Deswik.
You must have a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
