Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join their high-performing team delivering critical decarbonisation infrastructure projects.

About the Role:Working as part of the Decarb Delivery team and reporting to the Design Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering civil design solutions focused on infrastructure such as earthworks, roads, drainage, and non-process facilities.
There is an opportunity to take the lead on projects or studies, depending on experience, and to collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure design deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
Produce detailed civil design models and documentation, incorporating data from various sources.
Liaise with engineers to determine design requirements and integrate into cohesive design models.
Apply relevant design standards – Australian or international – as applicable.
Manage GIS and spatial data, including the use of public and internal data sources to inform design.
Develop geospatial files and mapping outputs to support approvals processes.
Participate in project meetings and contribute design insights and options.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
About You:The ideal candidate will bring a flexible and innovative mindset, challenge traditional approaches, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have: 8+ years' experience in a Senior Civil Design position, ideally within mining or energy projects.
Proficiency in 12d Model and MicroStation software.
Strong background in the design of civil infrastructure, roads, drainage, and earthworks.
Demonstrated experience in technical design and construction documentation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with GIS tools such as Global Mapper or ArcGIS (highly regarded).
A Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Ability to develop custom tools/macros in 12d (preferred).
