About the Role: The Facilities Services Technician (FST) is a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary, non-technical Tradesperson. You will provide the following services: Mowing Agri-chemical spraying Building condition assessment Pest control Subcontractor supervision Handyperson services Customer and Grid service provider liaisons This is an autonomous role and will see you move from site to site carrying out a mix of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. Your day will start and finish at your home location and you will have full flexibility to organize your own schedule in order to ensure demands/needs of your locations are met and at a high standard at all times. We have multiple roles available from Kaitaia to Wellington. Pending your region, you may be required to be away from home for approximately 2 or 3 nights a fortnight. Accommodation and meal allowances provided. We have roles available from Kaitaia down to the South Island. This role will suit a jack of all trades or a sole trader looking for stable and consistent work. Requirements: High degree of ownership, accountability, and ability to work autonomously Your personal commitment to safe work practices needs to be second to none You are expected to be reliable, motivated and driven Physically fit, flexible and adaptable Full Class 1 NZ driver's license and ability to drive manual Benefits: NZQA recognized training provided and hands-on training when you join the team.
