The OSHC Manager holds a significant level of responsibility that requires adhering to the OSHC curriculum, providing leadership and a vision for the OSHC program, delivering engaging programs and driving continuous improvement.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Malvern Campus, the OSHC Manager will be responsible for the overall set up, daily management and operations for the program.
It will be an Ongoing, Part-Time opportunity based at our Malvern Campus, from 1.30pm - 6.30pm (the holiday programs will be extended hours) and has 4 weeks of holidays that can be taken during term time.
Key Duties Develop a curriculum framework incorporating all aspects of MTOP and developing policies and strategies ensuring alignment with the broader school objectives and reflect a commitment to high quality programs for students.
Setting up new services – QIP, Policies, purchasing of resources and setting up environment Liase with our Head of Marketing to promote new program to CGS families and working closely with finance to understand billing and booking procedures, policies and processes Lead, mentor, and support OSHC staff, fostering a collaborative and professional team culture and environment, ensuring staff share resources and best practices to provide consistent, high-quality programs Deliver on relevant admin and resources planning responsibilities, including managing leave requests, rosters and ensuring adequate coverage for leave, ensuring compliance needs are met, and appropriate access and inclusion for children with additional needs Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours Skills and Experience Previous experience in the developing, implementing and evaluating an OSHC program to support the movement of children between indoor and outdoor environments Demonstrate the capacity to deliver a quality Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program, including setting up new services, frameworks, policies and procedures Experience in leading, encouraging and supporting teams to foster a welcoming and safe team culture and environment Display a high level of communication and interpersonal skills when relating to children, parents and others Must hold and maintain a current First Aid Certificate Level 2, Anaphylaxis training, Asthma training or be willing to obtain these Diploma of Early Childhood Education, Diploma Out of School Age Education and Care or qualification recognised by ACECQA Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check or registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
