The Role
Under the broad direction of the Chief Risk Officer and the Director Risk, Policy and Compliance, the position is responsible for ensuring the Department of Health's risk, policy and compliance systems needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enhance clinical care, quality, and safety through implementation and improvement of the DoH's risk, policy and compliance systems.
* Develop strategy and plans, manage resources, and lead a team responsible for delivering specialist services and expert authoritative independent advice to customers and stakeholders.
* Manage operational delivery by designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative solutions that align with the DoH's strategic directions and consumer requirements.
About the Office of the Chief Risk Officer:
The Chief Risk Officer is responsible for managing risk governance across the Department of Health, working collaboratively with other members of the Health Executive to ensure an accurate risk profile exists.
The Risk, Policy, Compliance & Systems Unit has been established within the Office of the Chief Risk Officer to drive and engage all staff in a strategic approach to risk, policy, and compliance.
The Unit is responsible for enterprise risk management, policy, compliance, and the management of the Safety Reporting and Learning System (SRLS), the Strategic Document Management System (SDMS), and Comply Online.
Details of Appointment:
A permanent full-time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary:
$139,470 - $148,863 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation contribution.
